Partners in Education is a program that facilitates mutually beneficial community-school partnerships. These partnerships enable individuals, businesses, and other community organizations to support Baranoff Elementary by providing a variety of needed educational and general resources. PIE programs are planned and coordinated by school volunteers and overseen by Austin PIE. If you are interested in becoming a Baranoff Partner in Education, please download the attached form. As a Baranoff volunteer, AISD requires that you submit to a background check. Checks are a vital tool in protecting the safety of our children.
Who needs a background check? According to AISD, all volunteers who participate on a school campus much submit to a criminal history background check. This includes general volunteers, tutors, field trip chaperones, and mentors.
Background checks are simple to do and are available as a free service through the AISD Partners in Education web site.

Austin Partners in Education
Search for Baranoff on the left.
Select Parents as Partners.
Follow the prompts. You will be notified once you are approved! On your next visit to the school, please show your drivers license to Carroll Libbon.
Thank you for volunteering at Baranoff. Your completed background check will be sent to Baranoff Elementary. |
