New Family Orientation: Friday, August 21 9am-11am in Baranoff's cafeteria. If you will be joining Baranoff for the 09/10 school year, this is your chance to learn all about your new school. Free babysitting will be provided for children aged 3 and over. See the attached flyer for details. If interested in attending, please rsvp to Theresa Keanini at

Austin Summer Reading Programs |

There are a lot of ways to encourage your children to read this summer. Our Baranoff Library will be open each Monday in June. All current Baranoff children and rising Kindergarteners are encouraged to visit. The Austin Library is offering a fun reading program with crafts and activities throughout the summer. And there are several stores offering incentives for children to read more great books. A growing list of programs is below.

Complete school supply lists are now available. Kindergarten 3rd Grade 1st Grade 4th Grade 2nd Grade 5th Grade Hope you all have a wonderful, safe summer. See you back in August. Thank you to everyone who has pre-ordered your school supplies through EduKit. Order taking is now closed. All kits will be distributed at the school on August 20th after the class lists are posted. You will find distribution tables at the front of the school by the buffalo. If you are traveling at the end of the summer, plaese make arrangements for someone to pick up your kits. We will not deliver late kits to the classrooms. Any kits not pickup on the 20th will be donated to Baranoff. |

Fundraising a Huge Success |

Thanks to your support and participation in this year’s fundraising events, we have met all of our fundraising goals for the year! The carnival was a HUGE success, bringing in just under $25,000! That being the case, we have canceled this year’s Fun Run, previously scheduled for May 9. So, what will be done with all the money you have contributed to you child’s school this year? |
